How To Bypass FRP (Bypass Google Account) On Samsung Note 9 (SM-N960)

Introduction:

In this comprehensive guide, we will walk you through the process of bypassing the FRP (Factory Reset Protection) on the Samsung Note 9 (SM-N960). FRP is a security feature implemented by Google to protect user data in case of a device reset. However, situations may arise where you need to bypass this feature, such as when you forget your Google account credentials. Follow the steps outlined below to successfully bypass FRP on your Samsung Note 9.

Understanding FRP:

Factory Reset Protection is a security measure designed to prevent unauthorized access to your device after a factory reset. When FRP is activated, the device requires the user’s Google account credentials to proceed with the setup. While this is a crucial security feature, there are legitimate reasons for bypassing it, and we’ll guide you through the process safely.

Step 1: Prepare Your Tools Before we dive into the bypassing process, ensure you have the necessary tools:

  • A computer with internet access
  • A USB cable
  • OTG (On-The-Go) adapter
  • A microSD card (optional)

Step 2: Download Necessary Files Visit a reliable website to download the required files for bypassing FRP on the Samsung Note 9. Ensure that the files are compatible with your device model (SM-N960). You may need a combination file, Odin flash tool, and a firmware file.

Step 3: Transfer Files to Your MicroSD Card If you have a microSD card, transfer the downloaded files onto it. This step is optional but can be useful for devices without OTG support.

Step 4: Connect Your Device Power on your Samsung Note 9 and connect it to the computer using the USB cable. Make sure to use a cable that is in good condition.

Step 5: Enable USB Debugging Go to your device’s settings, navigate to “About phone,” and tap on the build number multiple times to enable Developer Options. Once enabled, go to Developer Options and enable USB debugging.

Step 6: Use the OTG Adapter If your device supports OTG, connect the OTG adapter to your phone and then connect the microSD card containing the downloaded files.

Step 7: Launch Odin and Flash the Combination File Open Odin on your computer, select the combination file in the AP slot, and click on “Start” to begin the flashing process. This will initiate the bypassing procedure.

Step 8: Download Mode Your device will enter Download Mode automatically during the flashing process. Once completed, your device will restart.

Step 9: Complete Initial Setup Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial device setup. You can now set up a new Google account without encountering FRP restrictions.

Conclusion:

Bypassing FRP on your Samsung Note 9 may be necessary in certain situations, and by following the steps outlined in this guide, you can do so safely and efficiently. Always ensure that you download files from reputable sources and follow the instructions carefully to avoid any complications during the process. Now you can regain access to your device without the hassle of FRP restrictions.
